Faith Don’t Fail Me Now

Luke 22:31-32 (NIV)
“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat.  But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

Satan wants to sift you as wheat.  But intercessions have gone before you so your faith will not fail.  And when you turn back, strengthen your brothers and sisters in the Word of God.  Everyday, has its own sets of challenges BUT the prayers of the righteous have been made available.

The old fashioned way of sifting wheat is to spread the wheat onto a floor made from stone, concrete or tamped earth and to beat it with a flail.  The sifting of wheat sounds like the struggles we’ve had to endure.  The attack on our life seems almost violent in the spirit world BUT God went before you to destroy the barriers in your way.
Prayer:
Father God we thank you for your son died, rose again and sits on the right hand of the throne so we could live.  We are no longer guilty by association but are righteous by association.  Satan wants to sift us as wheat BUT we stand in agreement with Your word.  We stand strong and call an army of angels to bind the enemy.  In Jesus Precious Name, Amen!
